Thursday Lecture Series: Oregon Film Museum

Independent filmmakers Sue Arbuthnot and her partner Richard Wilhelm will be on hand to discuss the filmmaking process, cultivating rural resilience, and their documentary Dryland. They will also share clips from their documentary-in-progress Refuge. This film about the 2016 armed takeover of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge near Burns, Oregon is a cinematic exploration of how the myth of the West both serves and harms us.

The Thursday lecture series is open to all ages, never a cover. Doors to the Lovell Showroom open at 6pm, with food and drinks available through the Taproom. Arrive early – seating is limited.
