This blended mixed culture ale was hypersaturated with a ton of local fruit called Haskap berries. They basically look like long blueberries and taste like a mix between black currants, cranberries, and raspberries. We used 2 lbs of berries per gallon of beer to create a refreshingly puckerful fruit beer.
Appearance: slight haze, intense deep red
Aroma: pomegranate, raspberry jelly, lime zest, wet stone, a light wild yeast funk
Taste: medium carbonation, intense tart fruit, dry finish, lingering fruit flavor and a mouthwatering acidity
