Stout Month 2025

THE BIGGEST STOUT MONTH EVER

Fort George Stout Month 2025

The 16th edition of Fort George Stout Month is going to feature the most stout beer that the PNW has ever seen at one time. Throughout the month, Fort George will pour more house stouts than there are days in February. A tradition going back over 25 years, (read more about that here), Stout Month will feature the Blind Taster Tray, Special Stout Cuisine, Stout Music, Cask Stout, the Stout Month Lovell Arcade, Stout Month Merch and a little thing called the Festival of Dark Arts. First, let’s meet the Stouts.

THE AFTERMATH – FEBRUARY 16th

The Stout Month package releases peak on The Aftermath, 2/16 in the Fort George Lovell Taproom. The 2025 Matryoshka variant bottles will be unleashed on the public along with collaborations with our friends at Structures, de Garde and Brujos (that one’s not a Stout, but still pretty cool).

Every December, we release Matryoshka – The Mother, our quintessential barrel-aged Imperial Stout. From there, we start scheming how we will stack this doll into Matryoshka variants. For 2025, the inspiration was the classic cinnamon babka pastry. A first this year, we paired each variant with specific origins of vanilla beans. Tasting over 30 different combinations of vanilla, cinnomon, pistachio and the full babka, the brewers at Fort George put together the best vertical of Matryoshka ever. Meet the Aftermath offerings:

Matryoshka w/ Vanilla Bean & Cocoa 14.7%
