It’s Time to Get Co-Hoperative!

The Fort George Brewery was founded on the idea that many hands make light work. We extend this philosophy to the creation of our seasonal fresh hop beer and the time has come once again…

ATTENTION Fort George fans: if you have hops to spare please bring them to the Fort George Brewery Tuesday, Sept 4th.  Last year, people from all over our county and even from Portland came and donated their hops for our Co-Hoperative Ale and we hope to see another great turnout of hops this year.  We’ll spend the day picking and sorting the hops and then combine them into a new, one of a kind brew – Co-Hoperative Ale.  It smells like teamwork and tastes like unity.
