A Magnanimous November at Fort George

It’s the most magnanimous time of the year. Thoughts turn towards the holidays and family gatherings. Communities come together and help one another. At Fort George, it’s time for the Magnanimous Mug Awards—our biggest Benefit Night of the year.

Over the last three years, this Fort George program has helped raise more than $200,000. Benevolent individuals are raising funds for their favorite local nonprofits right now—but only one winner will hoist the Magnanimous Mug. To help choose the winner, join us at the awards ceremony. It’s free, happening on Tuesday, November 26th at 6 pm in the upstairs pizzeria at Fort George.

Local Champions
The top three fundraisers will receive matching donations from Fort George: up to $10,000 for 1st place, up to $5,000 for 2nd place, and up to $1,000 for 3rd. The first place winner will also hoist the Magnanimous Mug for all of 2020. This is a Fort George Mug Club mug, with all of the perks associated with that exclusive club. The winner may gift the cherished Mug to a friend or loved one, or use it themselves.

If you, noble reader, might like to champion an important local cause for next year’s Magnanimous Mug Awards, check our magnanimous current guidelines.
