More than just containers for holding soup or tea, pottery is often a vessel for stories. Come learn fascinating stories about ceramic objects from the past, and what they can tell us about the people who used them.
Brad Menninga grew up in Bellingham, Washington, and although he has left the Pacific Northwest several times, he always ends up back on the rainy side of the Cascades. He received his MFA from California College of the Arts (San Francisco) in 2010. After running the ceramics program for a few seasons at a remote retreat center near Glacier Peak, Menninga moved to Minnesota, where he worked as a potter and created several solo installations. In 2023, he left St. Paul to teach ceramics at Clatsop Community College in Astoria, Oregon.
Doors open at 6pm with food and beverages available via the Taproom window, talk starts at 7pm. All ages welcome and never a cover.
