TNT: You Gotta Regatta

Local researcher Lauri Serafin will present a fascinating look at the early years of the Astoria Regatta, with special attention to its 1894 origins, the 1899 regatta, and the 1914 Regatta Queen, Alli Forsstrom. In its early days, the Astoria Regatta was a major West Coast maritime celebration—one that has evolved over time into a more regional event. The presentation will feature an extensive collection of vintage photographs accompanied by historical commentary. You Gotta Regatta!
