Los Gallos Rumba hails from Portland, Oregon and brings with them the sounds of flamenco music with its rich gypsy and arabic roots. Their sets are infused with romantic Spanish guitar and cover everything Latin from rumba, to salsa and meringue. Lead singer of the group Mercedes Estevez is from Barcelona Spain and moved to Portland two years ago. She has family from Jaen, Andalucia where flamenco music originated which inspired her to sing since she was a child. Her joyful spirit and passion fill her voice with an enchanting unique splendor. Mercedes also is a skilled song writer and dancer. She gets everyone fired up with her graceful flamenco inspired movements. A night to wear your dancing shoes to the Fort George Brewery!
