Local swing jazz group Swing Cats will perform for their first time at the Fort George Brewery and Public House on Sunday, September 6th at 8pm.
Swing Cats is a four-piece ensemble of coast musicians playing jazz -swing era, standards, and progressive; bossa nova; blues; and an occasional rock and roll piece. Members include Dave Ambrose on stand-up bass, Richard T. on the guitar, Bill Hayes on guitar and Tom Sarpela on drums. Their combination of talents bring a smooth flow to their music that inspires listeners to groove with them, toes tapping.
