We’re a Public House and we take that job seriously. Over the last two decades, Fort George has hosted thousands of community and private events. From poetry readings to weddings, birthdays, holiday parties and bake sales, fundraisers, concerts, board meetings, yoga classes and more. Fort George Lovell Showroom
The Lovell Building was constructed in 1921 as an auto showroom for the expanding Lovell Auto Co in Downtown Astoria, Oregon. A century later, lovingly restored and renovated by the Fort with the help of local craftsmen, the Showroom is a bright, inviting space. Featuring soaring rafters, huge old growth beams and walls lined with barrels of future beer, this space showcases the charm and beauty of old Astoria. Renew your vows, celebrate your pet adoption, host a wooden spoon carver’s summit. All events are better with beer.
The Showroom, Fort George’s largest fully private rentable venue, includes a dedicated service window and can accommodate 75 people seated and 100 people standing.

The Fort George Lovell Taproom & brewery space is available for rent – from intimate gatherings to formal presentations – the Taproom space can easily accommodate 75 people seated and 125 people standing. Pull up a few bar stools by the fire for a family reunion or set up a presentation right beneath the brewery’s brite tanks. Custom drink and food menus available.

The Fort George Pizzeria is available for private events during limited hours and for large party reservations up to 25 during regular business hours. Seven days advance notice required. Beer lover’s birthday party? Annual meeting of the Pacific Northwest Pickle Growers Association? Volunteer appreciation? Post-game pizza party? All events are better with beer… and pizza.
