After a four hour boil, this beer was aged for 11 month is Dry Fly Whiskey barrels from Spokane, WA. It was then conditioned on toasted hazelnuts. The result is decadent yet deceptively smooth, with toasted hazelnut aroma & flavor and notes of dark chocolate, vanilla, and charred oak. The barrels were returned to Dry Fly for further whiskey aging, so look forward to their stout finished whiskey.
