A Witbier is a traditional Belgian style, often very pale and cloudy in appearance due to the high level of wheat. They are typically brewed with coriander and orange zest. We use lemongrass to impart that citrus character, plus ground coriander and wild-crafted elderflower. There is no bitterness whatsoever, which gives your palate room to explore the smooth wheat malt and tantalizing herbs & spices.
Appearance: hazy yellow-gold
Aroma: fruit, citrus, and sweet phenols from the Belgian yeast
Taste: citrus, mild bubblegum, and a touch of spice.
