SMOKEY, CHOCOLATEY, OAKY
A blend of two imperial stouts aged in spirit barrels, one was brewed with chocolate and hazelnuts and aged in Laphroaig Scotch Whiskey barrels for 11 months, and one was a straight-up big stout aged in bourbon barrels for 2 years. Blended to a perfect balance of peat smoke, stout-y chocolate, and oaky goodness.
Brewed and barrel-aged by Dave Coyne, Wolf Spider is black in color with a tan/brown head. Chocolate, peat and toasted nut aromas compliment the chocolate, black plum, molasses, licorice, roasted nut, and vanilla oak flavor. The addition of Hersheys Baking Chocolate, Molasses, Brown Sugar and Hazelnuts make for a perfect balance of chocolatey, stout-y goodness.
