Columbia Land Trust was founded in 1990 and has worked to conserve and restore land in the 5 different ecoregions that surround the River from the Columbia Plateau to the mouth. Join Austin Tomlinson, Coast Region Stewardship Manager, and Katie Pierson, Natural Area Manager, as they discuss work that has been done by the Columbia Land Trust in this area. From sustainable forestry, collaborative projects to build bridges, and amphibian egg mass surveys, come learn about what the Columbia Land Trust has been up to in this region for 30-plus years.
Nature Matters, a lively conversation about the intersection of nature and culture, takes place on the fourth Thursday of each month from October through May. Nature Matters is hosted by Lewis and Clark National Historical Park in partnership with the North Coast Watershed Association, the Lewis & Clark National Park Association, and Fort George Brewery.
Doors to the Lovell Showroom open at 6pm with food and beverages available via the Taproom window. All ages welcome and never a cover!
