As part of the local and international beer community’s ongoing support for Australia’s bushfire relief efforts, brewers in Australia and overseas have been invited to join in a fundraising brew. In support of the relief efforts, Fort George has brewed Resilience IPA, a single recipe brewed by each craft brewery participating in this global community effort.
At Fort George, all profits from sales of Resilience IPA will benefit WIRES – an animal rescue service in New South Wales which helps care for sick, injured, or orphaned wildlife. Resilience IPA will release on draft at the Fort George Pub on Sunday, March 1st.
Resilience IPA is clean, quaffable, and pleasantly hoppy. You can view the entire list of breweries participating here.
Brewer's Notes
Resilience Beer and the Resilience IPA is a project that arose in the wake of unprecedented bushfires in Australia during late 2019 and early 2020. It came from a desire in the local beer industry to find ways to support those impacted by and fighting the fires both now and in the future. The beer is being brewed by brewers both locally and internationally with all money raised going to a diverse range of charities and other causes, both big and small.
